Sometimes the best answer is laughter. As I mentioned in a post over the summer, trying to capture a decent St. Romain family photo can be excruciating. However, today our whole family was more amused than frustrated, so we survived the photo experience without blood or tears. All the while, I was having Christmas past flashbacks which kept me smiling. Silly boys, squirrelly animals, and an absent daddy (trying to set the camera timer) made for some crazy pictures over the years, but interestingly enough, those are the photos I remember most fondly. Yes, my children are getting older, but luckily for me trapped inside them are still the same little silly boys who drove me crazy year after year. What a beautiful thing.
