Are your students in need of some social skills?
In this whirlwind day of staff development, participants will discuss the most critical social skills students need to be successful in the school system and learn specific developmentally appropriate ways to teach them through songs and simple activities. This information is very appropriate for complementing behavioral RTI efforts at the primary level.
Participants will receive two resources, inclusive of the registration fee: 10 Simple Songs for Better Behavior in the Classroom [Songbook and CD] and 10 Simple Lessons for Better Behavior in the Classroom. These products are applicable pre-kindergarten through second grade.
The lessons covered in this workshop have specific key phrases and pictures designed to prompt and teach appropriate behaviors. These phrases and pictures can be used successfully by individual teachers who choose to attend; however, it is exponentially powerful when an entire grade level of teachers implement the strategies. Counselors and primary music teachers will also find the information and resources very useful.
Why attend alone? The joy of staff development should be shared with friends, so note when three or more register from the same school the registration fee drops by 5.00 per person.
Electronic registration for this workshop can be completed online at www.danstromain.com. For more information, contact Lee Anne Everett at firstname.lastname@example.org or 210.826.3345.
