Are your students in need of some social skills?
As discipline concerns continue to mount in the classroom, teachers are in need of simple ways to teach and reinforce social skills. This workshop was designed to meet this need. Built on the original session Songs and Lessons for Better Behavior, this workshop outlines easy lessons for teaching behavioral skills. The lessons feature Juan Pablo, the Chameleon and a new friend. These lessons were written specifically from teacher requests. Although the information in this workshop complements the original session, participants need not have attended that workshop in order to benefit from this one. This information is very appropriate for complementing behavioral RTI efforts at the primary level.
Registered participants will receive Dans new resource: 10 More Simple Lessons for Better Behavior in the Classroom, coupled with another small Juan Pablo product currently in production. These resources are most applicable pre-kindergarten through second grade.
The lessons covered in this workshop have specific key phrases and pictures designed to prompt and teach appropriate behaviors. These phrases and pictures can be used successfully by individual teachers who choose to attend; however, it is exponentially powerful when an entire grade level of teachers implement the strategies. Counselors and administrators will also find the information and resources very useful. When three or more individuals register from the same school, there is a 5.00 per person discount.
Payment is due by the day of the registration. There are no refunds for shows. Cancellations and changes should be made in an email – Attention: Lee Anne Everett (email@example.com).
