In today’s society, children and teens display a wide range of behaviors, which have a negative impact on homes and classrooms around the globe. These behaviors are due in part to the mixed messages they receive from adults about who to be and how to act. As times change, so must our behavioral strategies. However, the first step is altering our perspective. For it is only in doing so, that we are in the best position to strengthen positive behavior patterns in our youth.
